This "still life with apple" represents a slice of life that has not changed due to the introduction of modern technology ... your horse could care less about selfies, facebook or instagram.  They will not tweet or snapchat ... just try to skype with your horse!  They do, however, like your company (mostly) and they love most apple varieties.  No high tech required here!
