October 22nd and 23rd 2015 - Just a few days away! "Traveling the West" "The story told in art of how a nation moved westward and settled the Great American Frontier" "Traveling the West" art show is the nation's premier art events of 2015. This show will offer original work by more than 175 of America's top artists. This themed event is one of the largest Western Art Show & Sales to ever be held and will tell the story in art of how a nation traveled west. Wagons, Horses, Trains, Planes, & Automobiles are highlighted in hundreds of unique ways throughout the history of the American West. This national show and sales event is the first time that the top Western Artists, Aviation Artists, Wildlife Artists, Still Life Artists, Plein Air Artists, and Landscapes Artists are together presenting the same theme. With the nations best painters and sculpture artists attending, this unique event will set a new standard in Western Art. "Traveling the West" touches on all areas of western life. From the earliest days of the Mountain Men, to the great push west after the Civil War. All moments in western history are included; Wagon trains, Cattle drives, ranch life, wildlife, hunting, fishing, the great railroads, and the first pilots that brought the airplane to the west are remembered. Modern day life is also included; rodeo's, tourism, and all types of cars, trucks and aircraft that are found in the west. The horse will forever be the backbone of the American West, and some of the best horse artwork available will highlight the show theme.
